Factories

• Factories can only be constructed by a company.
• Each company can only have a single factory.
• The construction and upgrade costs of the factory remain in the company as an asset.
• There are 9 different types of factories - one for each type of crop.
• After constructing the factory, the company will need to purchase the specific crop from the market - at the current market price
• The factory will convert these crops into products, and these products can then again be sold for a profit.
• The selling price for manufactured product is 3 x the current market price (excluding High Demand prices) of the associated crop.
• Buying and selling of factory stock and products does not use High Demand prices.
• Factories can also be upgraded. Upgrading the factory enables it to convert crops into product at a faster rate.
• Each upgrade will make the factory 20% faster.
• A factory can only keep a maximum amount of stock. This increases with 25% with each upgrade.
• Crops in the company stockpile rots at a rate of 0.5% per hour.
• After game end factories will be revealed.

Dividends

• When factory products are sold, each member of the company will get 5.0% dividends from the sale made. This will be added to their cash balance.
• Dividends will only be paid out to company members who have been in the company for at least 24 hours.

Fast Forward

• Each Fast Forward minute a member of the company uses, the factory will also receive 1 Fast Forward minute.
• These minutes will accumulate and can then be played by a director at any time (while upgrading or running).
• Minutes cannot be used while a factory is on strike.
• The company must at least be busy constructing a factory to receive the minutes.
